Toledo, Ohio - The Toledo women's tennis team (10-3) will play its first two matches of the Mid-American Conference season this weekend when the team hits the road to take on Buffalo (7-3) and Akron (11-7). The Rockets travel to Buffalo, N.Y. on Friday to take on the Bulls at 1:00 p.m., then return to Ohio on Sunday to play the Zips at 1:00 p.m. in Akron.
"Coming off the impressive UIC win (on Saturday), the team is playing with a lot of confidence," head coach Tracy Mauntler said ahead of the trip. "At this point, they've done all the hard things—the work and preparation since August all comes down to the next five- to six-weeks.
