TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo enters this Saturday's game vs. Western Michigan needing a win to stay in the race for the West Division crown of the Mid-American Conference.
Toledo (3-4, 1-2 MAC) is two games behind league leader Northern Illinois, with the Huskies holding the head-to-head tie-breaker with the Rockets.
Toledo is coming off a 26-23 overtime setback at Central Michigan last week. Redshirt freshman quarterback Dequan Finn nearly rallied Toledo from a 17-point second-half deficit, but the Rockets came up just short.
Finn tied the score at 23-23 with 35 seconds left when he scored from 18 yards out.
