YPSILANTI, MI – Toledo posted its second-straight road sweep with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-13) victory over Eastern Michigan on Saturday evening at the EMU Convocation Center.
Juniors Annie Beasley and Saige Thomas paced UT with eight kills apiece with senior Rachel Vidourek and Mary O'Connor tallying six kills apiece. Vidourek was nearly perfect in the match with zero attack errors in nine attempts.
Sophomore libero Maurissa Leonard topped Toledo's defensive efforts in the back row with 14 digs, while Beasley and O'Connor spearheaded UT at the net with nine and seven blocks, respectively.
