TOLEDO, Ohio – Behind Quinesha Lockett's 22 points, the Toledo women's basketball team (14-4, 5-2 MAC) cruised to an 82-63 win against Miami (7-13, 2-5 MAC) at home on Wednesday.
Lockett has now scored at least 20 points in four of her last five games and is averaging 21.3 PPG in MAC play. The Omaha, Neb. native entered rare air on Wednesday, passing former Rocket greats Kelly Savage and Kim Sekulski to move into sixth place all-time in career scoring in school history.
Toledo led by seven at the end of the first quarter before shooting 10-of-14 from the floor in the second quarter to take a 42-17 lead into halftime.
