KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Toledo women's soccer team remains unbeaten in Mid-American Conference play after a 0-0 draw with Western Michigan on Sunday afternoon at the WMU Soccer Complex.
The Rockets (5-4-3, 2-0-2 MAC) fought off 24 Western Michigan shots to keep the contest scoreless. Redshirt freshman Madison Perrin made eight saves in goal for UT for her fifth shutout of the season.
Seniors Hannah Scafaria and Sophie Pohl each took three shots to lead the Midnight Blue & Gold offensively.
Western Michigan (7-3-1, 2-1-1 MAC) out-shot UT 24-9 and took 12 corner kicks compared to five for the Rockets.
