TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's tennis team defended its home court for the seventh time this season, with a 6-1 victory over Western Michigan on Sunday. The Rockets' win improves their record to 14-4 overall, 4-1 in Mid-American Conference play, and is their 12-straight win at home since April 2, 2021.
Toledo won the doubles point thanks to a 6-3 win from and on the No. 3 court, and a 7-5 decision clinch by and on the No. 1 court.
Despite the final score, the match was a close battle with all five of Toledo's singles victories going the full three sets.
