MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The University of Toledo women's track and field team finished day one at the MAC Indoor Championships on Friday with an exciting finish in the distance medley relay.
The distance medley relay team of Emily Vining, Rayna Horner, Madeline Vining, and Semra Karaslan came within a tenth of a second of taking first place. With less than 200 meters to go, Karaslan was able to take the team from fourth to the second with a photo-finishing time of 11:38.18. Bowling Green took first with a time of 11:38.
