TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team rallied from an early deficit to finish off a weekend sweep over Western Michigan in an 8-5 triumph at Scott Park on Saturday.
The Rockets (16-22, 10-11 MAC) swept a series for the first time this season for their first sweep since May 3-5, 2024 against Eastern Michigan. After the Broncos (10-26, 6-12 MAC) took an early 3-0 lead, the Rockets chipped away before taking the lead for good with a five-run sixth inning. three-run home run with no outs proved to be the game-winner.
