TOLEDO, Ohio— The University of Toledo men's tennis team was honored by the NCAA for ranking in the top 10 percent of men's tennis programs in the Academic Progress Rate (APR). The program received a perfect score of 1,000 for the four-year period from 2015-16 to 2018-19.
This marks the third straight season the Rockets' men's tennis team has posted a perfect 1000 APR score.
"The guys were unbelievable this year and it clearly all started with our leadership," head coach Al Wermer said. "Ernie (Thawin), Cole, Philip, and Danilo not only set the tone in practice and training, but also for the off-court business and academics.
