TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team took the battle down to the final point but ultimately ended up on the losing end of a 4-3 defeat to Cleveland State at Shadow Valley Tennis Club on Friday.
Junior Hanamichi Carvajal tied the match at 3-3, putting the match down to a back-and-forth match at the No. 2 spot. Senior Marko Galic fell to CSU's Kade Mindry 5-7, 6-4, 7-6(5) to secure the win for the Vikings.
Toledo took a 1-0 match lead into singles play after securing the doubles point from the bottom two courts.
