TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo Rockets will look to rebound following a heartbreaking 41-38 loss at Western Michigan last week when they travel to Eastern Michigan on Wednesday, Nov. 18 (7:00 p.m./CBS Sports Network).
In the WMU game on Nov. 11, the Rockets (1-1, 1-1 MAC) scored a touchdown to go up 38-28 with 2:54 to go in the game. The Broncos then marched down the field and scored a TD to pull within four, 38-34, with 45 seconds left. WMU then recovered an onside kick and proceeded to score the game-winning touchdown with 17 seconds left when quarterback Kaleb Eleby faked spiking the ball and then hit Jaylen Hall from nine yards out.
