Williamsville, N.Y. – The University of Toledo men's tennis team opened Mid-American Conference play with a 5-2 victory over Binghamton at Miller Tennis Center in Williamsville, N.Y. on Saturday.
"I'm very proud of all of our guys," said head coach . "Our year, to this point, has prepared us for the MAC season at several levels: physical, technical, and most importantly, the mindset."
The Rockets had a strong start, clinching the doubles point with wins on the No. 1 and No. 3 courts. Senior dup / defeated Tiago Lourenco/Kushaan Nath 6-3 and senior /freshman defeated Dylan Friedman/Inigo Saez 6-1.
