WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Toledo men's golf team moved up three spots in the standings on Monday to finish in fifth place at the Purdue Fall Invitational. The Rockets shot an even-par 288 for the second-straight round on the par-72, 7,461-yard Kampen Course to finish at 11-over par in the 54-hole tournament.
"Our guys are starting to show potential and have the ability to get to the next level," Head Coach Jeff Roope said. "We just have to make some small adjustments throughout an entire round to get where we want to go. We played well enough to get to 10-under yesterday and seven-under today but then ended up at even-par.
