RALEIGH, N.C. – Toledo sat in sixth place at three-over par 291 following Friday's opening round of North Carolina State's Stitch Intercollegiate. The second round at the par-72, 7,287-yard Lonnie Pool Golf Course was suspended due to darkness and will resume tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
Sophomore Barend Botha is leading the Rockets and tied for eighth place at one-under par 71. Botha played an aggressive round, finishing with six birdies and five bogeys.
Senior David Amm is one stroke behind Botha and tied for 18th place with an even-par 72.
