TOLEDO, Ohio— Toledo's 2020 baseball season begins on Saturday with the Rockets' first official practice, held at the Fetterman Training Center.
Saturday's intersquad scrimmage is being held 20 days out from the Rockets' season-opening three-game series at East Tennessee State, which starts on Friday, Feb. 14.
"We are just about three weeks away from Opening Day and the guys have really been getting after it since we returned to campus," head coach Rob Reinstetle said. "It was obvious that they put in the necessary work over the winter break. We're really pleased with their conditioning to this point.
