Toledo, Ohio - Gabriella Agostino has been hired as the assistant women's diving coach at the University of Toledo, UT head coach Jonas Persson announced today. Agostino, who worked as the graduate assistant diving coach for the Rockets for the last two seasons, will be the first full-time diving coach in the history of the program.
"I'm very excited to continue coaching at Toledo," Agostino said. "I'm looking forward to building a team that keeps improving each year. I want to keep developing the divers we have, as well as the incoming recruits."
"I'm extremely excited that we were able to turn the diving coach position from graduate assistant into a full-time job," Persson said.
