Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) handed out awards for the 2018-19 season at its fourth annual Rocket Senior Banquet at Libby Hall on April 22. Emma Sampson (women's swimming & diving) and Bailey Flint (football) served as emcees for the event. UT's head coaches introduced their seniors and highlighted their accomplishments.
Football player Cody Thompson was honored as the Men's Most Valuable Player, while women's soccer player Hannah Scafaria was named the Women's MVP. Bailey Cahill of the women's swimming & diving team was named the Sportswoman of the Year while men's cross country runner Brian Stubelt was named Sportsman of the Year.
