Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) handed out awards for the 2017-18 season at its third annual Rocket Senior Banquet at the Grogan Room in Savage Arena on April 23. Cross country runners and SAAC representatives Josh Oeters (West Chester, Ohio) and Stephanie Sherman (Sylvania, Ohio) served as emcees for the event. UT's head coaches introduced their seniors and highlighted their accomplishments.
Men's basketball player Tre'Shaun Fletcher (Wilmer, Ark.) was honored as the Men's Most Valuable Player, while track/cross country runner Janelle Noe (Sylvania, Ohio) was named the Women's MVP. Noe was also named the Sportswoman of the Year.
