MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Winning college basketball games on the road is difficult, even at downtrodden Central Michigan.
Ask Tod Kowalczyk.
Last season, en route to a Mid-American Conference championship, Toledo squandered a 17-point-second-half lead to lose to the Chippewas at McGuirk Arena.
The Rockets exacted some revenge on Tuesday with an 82-54 win in Mount Pleasant. UT used a smothering defense and artful offense to control the game.
Ra’Heim Moss scored the first points as Toledo never trailed.
“I have to be honest with you,” Kowalczyk said, “we won by 28 points, but I'm not sure we played all that well.
