BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Toledo (4-2, 1-1 MAC) fell behind early and could never get rolling as the Rockets fell to arch-rival Bowling Green, 20-7, at Doyt Perry Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Bowling Green (2-4, 1-1 MAC) scored the first 10 points of the game and led at halftime, 17-7. Total yardage in the game was about even, with the Falcons outgaining the Rockets, 425-392, but BG made big plays on special teams, blocking a punt and a field-goal attempt.
Senior quarterback Mitchell Guadagni completed 17-of-20 passes for 194 yards but left the game in the third quarter with an apparent injury.
