EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Toledo men's tennis team fell to Michigan State 4-3 in East Lansing, Mich. on Saturday.
"When you have three freshmen starters you're dancing with the devil and you never know for sure who's going to show up," said head coach . "But we actually felt pretty decent about our first outing. and were awesome."
The Rockets kicked things off with doubles, where senior and junior defeated MSU's John Carlin/Anthony Pero 6-2 on the No. 1 court. On the No. 2 court, sophomore and freshman pushed Jarreau Campbell/Drew Keene to a 6-6 tie, but fell short at 7-6(4).
