TOLEDO, Ohio - The Rockets were held to just a single run for the second-straight game en route to a 4-1 loss to Mid-American Conference opponent Central Michigan on Friday afternoon at Scott Park.
Toledo (14-35, 7-12 MAC) stayed in the game with another strong start on the mound by senior Steven Calhoun. Calhoun tossed 8.0 innings and allowed four runs, two earned on six hits, four walks and a pair of strikeouts.
Central Michigan (27-22, 14-5 MAC) matched Calhoun's start with an 8.0 inning performance of its own by Pat Leatherman. Leatherman allowed the single run on five hits and two walks.
