TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team was honored with the 2023-24 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, the American Baseball Coaches Association announced on Wednesday.
UT earned the award for the third consecutive season. The award honors college and high school baseball programs at all levels which posted GPAs of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for the 2023-24 academic year. Head coaches must also be ABCA members for their teams to be honored.
Toledo posted a 3.389 GPA for the entire academic year and eclipsed 3.2 team semester GPAs for the 9th and 10th-consecutive terms under Head Coach Rob Reinstetle.
