TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team opened its weekend series against Ball State with an 8-1 loss at Scott Park on Friday.
It was a one-run game through five innings, but the Cardinals (15-8, 10-1 MAC) scored six runs over the final four innings while stifling the Rockets (12-12, 6-6 MAC) at the plate.
Freshman tallied two of Toledo's four hits on Friday and now has three straight multi-hit games. Senior tallied the lone RBI on the day with a bases-loaded walk in the third inning and reached base three times. He was one of two
