Muncie, Ind. — The Toledo baseball team kicked off its final weekend series of the season on Thursday, falling at Ball State by a score of 10-1.
The Rockets took the first lead of the game after scoring a run in the top of the first, but the Cardinals tallied 10 unanswered runs to win game one of this series.
Freshman went 2-for-3 with two doubles and the lone RBI, his second straight game with multiple extra-base hits. Senior also tallied two hits on the afternoon. Junior started on the mound and threw five innings, while freshman threw the final three frames.
