TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team was unable to overcome a go-ahead RBI single in the top of the 10th inning, falling to Miami 4-3 at Scott Park Saturday afternoon.
Toledo (19-20, 12-8 MAC) had its streak of four straight MAC series wins snapped, while Miami (17-19, 10-10 MAC) evened its conference record.
"Today was another really tough one-run loss," said Head Coach . "We battled hard and had some chances early to extend our lead but couldn't, as our offense has struggled this weekend. A bright spot today was Cam Szynski. He held the Miami offense down and his great effort gave us a chance to tie and win the game late.
