Muncie, Ind. - The University of Toledo women's track and field team wrapped competition at the Ball State Challenge with 14 top-10 finishes, 20 personal-bests, and two MAC automatic qualifying marks.
"We had a pretty good weekend at Ball State, with strong performances across event groups," said head coach Linh Nguyen. "The throwers always perform well here. That was true again this weekend, with the personal bests and top finishes, led by Katie Dewey, who had a very good shot-put result."
Dewey opened competition Friday with a third-place finish in the discus event, posting a mark of 46.
