NASSAU, Bahamas — The University of Toledo football team fell 35-32 to Florida International Friday afternoon in the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl at Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium.
The Rockets finish the season 7-6 overall and fail to win their bowl for the third consecutive season.
Toledo kicked off to open the game and FIU fumbled the kickoff with the Rockets recovering at the 4-yard line. Bryant Koback then rushed in for a touchdown from 4 yards out.
Toledo stretched its lead to 10-0 with a 28-yard field goal from Jameson Vest.
FIU responded with a 6-yard touchdown run from Anthony Jones that cut the Toledo lead to 10-7 early in the second quarter.
