TOLEDO, Ohio - Junior Kailey Minarchick limited Ball State to just one run on four hits, but the Rockets were shutout offensively in a 1-0 loss on Friday at Scott Park. Toledo and Ball State are now tied for first place in the Mid-American Conference West Division at 15-6 with two games to play.
Junior Kaitlyn Bergman, junior Katie Cozy and freshman Brittney Davis each recorded a hit for the Rockets in the loss.

The Rocket surrendered the lone run of the game on a solo home run in the second inning that stayed just fair down the right field line.
