TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team fell to Mid-American Conference foe Western Michigan, 5-2, on Saturday at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club.
The Broncos (14-9, 3-3 MAC) took a 1-0 lead after grabbing the doubles point with a 6-2 win on the No. 1 court and a 7-5 victory on the No. 2 court and won four of the six singles matches.
In singles play, Toledo (9-8, 3-4 MAC) tied the match at 1-1 when delivered a straight-set victory on the No. 2 court with a 6-2, 6-4 result. However, the Broncos quickly rebounded when fell to Anton Arzhankin 6-2, 6-2.
