The Rockets men’s basketball team looks to make a run at the 2016 MAC championship as they return a veteran roster, including four of their top five scorers from a year ago.
The UT community got their first look at the team on Saturday at Savage Arena as Toledo defeated Ohio Dominican University 94-79 in an exhibition game. The Rockets had four players score in double figures and outrebounded the Panthers 47-33.
UT will be led by fourth-year guard Jon Jon Williams who scored 23 points on 54% shooting. Williams was the third-leading scorer in the Mid-American Conference last season at 17.
