TOLEDO, Ohio – Three incoming student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent to join the Toledo women's swimming and diving program, interim head coach Brie Globig announced Thursday.
"We are excited to welcome Nejla and Sydney to the Toledo swimming family," said Globig. "Their strength in freestyle will bring further depth to our team in all of the freestyle events. Additionally, Sydney's speed and versatility in butterfly will maintain Toledo's excellence in that stroke."
Sydney Conrad competed for the Guelph Marlins Aquatic Club in Guelph, Ont. Conrad placed fourth in the 100 butterfly at the 2019 Speedo Western Canada Championships.
