The University of Toledo women's basketball team got contributions from up and down its roster as the Rockets cruised to a 99-41 win Saturday afternoon against Lock Haven at Savage Arena.
Freshman point guard Mariella Santucci led Toledo with 19 points. Sophomore Olivia Cunningham chipped in with 14 points, Michaela Rasmussen added 12 and freshman Mae Tshitenge had 11.
Eleven different Rockets scored as the team was without freshman Tanaya Beacham because of injury. Kaayla McIntyre and Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott were injured in the first half and did not return to the game.
“I think the thing that I was pleased with is that we had a couple kids get banged up,” UT coach Tricia Cullop said.
