TOLEDO, Ohio— The Toledo volleyball team announced the addition of transfer Rhyenne Filisi on Wednesday. A middle blocker, Filisi joins the Rockets after starting her collegiate career at West Virginia.
"Rhyenne entering our program is a huge step forward," head coach Jason Oliver said. "Her explosiveness and competitive nature will really push our training and our overall play to new heights. It is going to be fun to see Rhyenne grow over the next three years in our program."
Filisi, a Waipahu, Hawaii native, played her freshman year at West Virginia in 2018. She appeared in 16 total sets and played in five Big 12 matches.
