Quinesha Lockett will get a shot at the WNBA.
The former University of Toledo star signed a training camp contract with the Minnesota Lynx.
If Lockett makes the roster, she would become the first-ever UT player to play in the WNBA.
The Omaha, Neb., native was the 2022-23 Mid-American Conference player of the year and a four-time all-MAC selection. Lockett is UT’s second all-time leading scorer and she’s ninth in assists. She averaged 15.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in 152 career games.
Lockett played in the Women’s College All-Star Game at the Final Four in Cleveland, finishing with 11 points, five rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block.
