TOLEDO, Ohio –Sophomore Quinesha Lockett has been named third-team All-MAC, the league office announced on Tuesday with the release of its annual postseason award recipients.
Lockett scored in double figures in all but one of Toledo's 24 contests, including 13 20-point performances and three 30-point games. She ended the year averaging 19.6 points per game, which ties her for seventh all-time in program history in single-season scoring average. The Omaha, Neb. native is now tied with Angela Drake, who averaged 19.6 points per game in the 1995-96 season. Lockett's 19.6 points per game is the highest scoring average by a Rocket since 1998-99 when Kim Knuth averaged 25.
