TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo stretched its winning streak to 10 games on Sunday afternoon by downing non-conference foe Austin Peay, 7-6, at Scott Park. The Rockets' 10-game unbeaten stretch is their longest since winning 11 in a row in 2011.
"Today's victory was a lot closer than we like, but a win is a win and we'll take it," Head Coach said. "Wins are hard to come by, and sweeping a weekend is even harder. I'm really proud of the team and how we've handled ourselves. We can celebrate this weekend, but it's back to business tomorrow."
Senior and sophomore each tallied a team-high three hits for Toledo (25-17), with Servello collecting a team-high four RBIs and Williams scoring a team-best three runs.
