LAWRENCE, Kansas - The University of Toledo men’s basketball team ran into a hot-shooting No. 2 Kansas team and lost 96-58 on Tuesday night at Allen Fieldhouse.
Senior guard Devonte Graham scored 35 points to lead Kansas (6-0), Malik Newman scored 17 points, Svi Mykhailiuk had 15 points and Udoka Azubuike added 12 points.
Senior Tre’Shaun Fletcher and junior Nate Navigato paced Toledo (3-3) with 12 points, while junior Jaelan Sanford added nine points.
For the game, Kansas shot 59 percent (39-of-66) from the field as a team and 60 percent (12-of-20) from the 3-point line.
