TOLEDO, OH - Senior center Nathan Boothe has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. The honor marks the sixth time Boothe has received the award and the seventh time a Rocket has been named this season.
Boothe helped the Rockets to victories over Western Michigan and Kent State last week with a team-high 21.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. He also dished out 4.0 assists per game and shot 52.0 percent (13-of-25) from the field, 57.1 percent (4-of-7) from three-point range and 92.3 (12-of-13) percent from the free-throw line.
