TOLEDO, OH - Senior center Nathan Boothe has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. The honor marks the seventh time Boothe has received the award and the eighth time a Rocket has been named this season.
Boothe helped the Rockets to a 77-67 win over MAC West Division leader Ball State and a narrow 76-74 setback to Central Michigan. He averaged a team-high 23.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game.
A Gurnee, IL native, Boothe led the Rockets in scoring in both games against the Cardinals and Chippewas.
