DURHAM, N.C. – Senior Nate Thomson fired a two-under par 70 in Sunday's final round to finish with a three-over par 219 (76-73-70) at Duke's Rod Myers Invitational. Thomson paced the Toledo men's golf team in the event by tying for 27th place in a field that included five 2019 NCAA Championships participants and was held at the par-72, 7,154 Duke University Golf Club.
Thomson enjoyed his most success on par-five holes, finishing at five-under par. He also was one-over par on the par-three holes.
Seniors Grant Godfrey (78-73-79=230) and Rasmus Broholt Lind (78-72-81=231) tied for 58th and 62nd, respectively.
