Usually, it’s easy to decide awards for the best players on a team.
Not this season’s version of the Toledo Rockets.
Through six games, UT is winning at a high clip, and the weaknesses are few. The flaws on offense are virtually nonexistent, with a playmaking quarterback, the presumptive first-team All-Mid-American Conference running back, the nation’s leader in touchdown receptions, and one of the best offensive lines.
The defense has been exposed at times, but that doesn’t mean the unit isn’t overflowing with talent. Dallas Gant, Quinyon Mitchell, Maxen Hook, Terrance Taylor, and Judge Culpepper are among the players who have stood out.
