CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced today that it will add women's rowing beginning with the 2025-26 academic year. The addition of women's rowing means that Toledo's inaugural women's rowing program will have the opportunity to compete for a MAC Championship in its first season as a varsity sport.
"We are very excited that women's rowing will be added as a Mid-American Conference sport in 2025-26, the inaugural season of Toledo Women's Rowing," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Bryan B. Blair. "A conference home is important to the growth and development of our rowing program.
