CLEVELAND, Ohio – Junior guard Marreon Jackson has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week for the third time this season, the league office announced on Monday. It is the fifth time Jackson has won the award in his career, and the seventh time this season a Rocket has earned the weekly accolade.
Jackson propelled Toledo to a pair of important victories last week by averaging 27.5 ppg, 5.5 rpg and 4.5 apg. He also posted an impressive 55.6 three-point FG% (10-of-18) and missed just one free throw in 14 attempts for a 92.
