CLEVELAND, Ohio – Junior guard Marreon Jackson has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks, the league office announced on Monday. Jackson's honor marks the fifth time this season a Rocket has earned the weekly accolade and the third time he has in his collegiate career.
Jackson continued his great start to conference play by leading the Rockets with 28.0 ppg and 6.5 apg to go along with 4.0 rpg in two games last week. He also shot 44.4 percent (16-of-36) from the field, 45.
