CLEVELAND, Ohio – Junior guard Marreon Jackson has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. Jackson's honor marks the fourth time this season a Rocket has earned the weekly accolade.
Jackson averaged a team-high 22.0 ppg, 7.0 apg and 2.0 spg in addition to grabbing 5.0 rpg for Toledo last week. He also shot 55.6 percent (15-of-27) from the field and 43.8 percent (7-of-16) from three-point range.
Jackson erupted for a career-high 32 points to go along with five assists, four rebounds and three steals at MAC East Division co-leader Kent State on Tuesday.
