TOLEDO, Ohio – Senior guard Marreon Jackson was named Mid-American Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season after leading the first-place Rockets to a pair of victories last week. Jackson averaged 19.0 points, 8.5 assists, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game and shot 56.5 percent (13-of-23) from the field and 54.5 percent (6-of-11) from three-point range in Toledo's wins over Miami and Buffalo.
In the Rockets' 87-75 win over Miami last Tuesday, Jackson tallied 18 points, a career-high 11 assists and 10 rebounds for the fourth triple-double in program history.
