Both Mid-American Conference men’s basketball division leaders suffered a loss last week in conference play, but Buffalo (MAC East) and Toledo (MAC West) have still separated themselves from the rest of the conference and both hold comfortable leads in their respective division. Buffalo lost at Kent State for its first conference defeat after nine straight and for Toledo a setback against Ball State snapped a seven-game win streak. Here are this week’s MAC power rankings:
MAC East
1) Buffalo (17-6, 9-1): The Bulls tripped up at Kent State, but their RPI still sits at an impressive 32nd in the country and they rebounded nicely with a home win over Western Michigan.
