TOLEDO, Ohio – Senior center Luke Knapke has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. Knapke's honor marks the second time he has earned the weekly accolade in his Rocket career.
Knapke averaged a double-double over the weekend with 18.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg to go along with 2.0 bpg in Toledo's victories over Robert Morris and Howard. The Maria Stein, Ohio native also was efficient shooting the ball as well, posting a 52.6 FG% (10-of-19) in the paint and a 55.6 three-point FG% (5-of-9) on the perimeter.
