TOLED, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's soccer team ended its 2021 season with a 10-6-4 record, its best record since 2012, and closed out its season with an appearance in the Mid-American Conference Tournament.
Freshman McKenna was named Freshman of the Year, named second-team All-MAC and earned a spot on the All-MAC Freshman Team. Shultz not only impacted the Rockets' defense and was later recognized on the national level as the only MAC women's soccer player to be ranked among the Top-100 Freshmen by TopDrawSoccer.
Also leading UT through a successful season was sophomore goalie Emma Boutorwick.
